Had the pork chops and chicken, mashed potatoes n gravy, greens, Mac n cheese. Yams n Cornbread n rolls. I ordered via DD- it was like my grandma sent over a dinner plate- very delicious! Delivered hot! Food fresh and tasty! Very impressed! Will continue to order from this establishment! Cornbread was the only item that I didn’t feel was very good- I have had much better cornbread. Thanks

I LOVE THE WAY THEY TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!! FROM PUBLIC SERVANTS TO SOMEONE IN NEED!!!!! THE LADY AT THE COUNTER IS FLAWLESS WITH FIXING ORDERS AND REMEMBERING YOUR FAMILY!!!! THIS IS HOME FOR ME!!!! oh.. the food is good lol *TRY YOUR BEST TO CATCH A PIECE OF THAT POUND CAKE... IT IS AMAZING!!!! Our normal order is veggies. THEY HAVE THE BEST VEGETABLE PLATE IN TOWN!! I've been in Springfield for 2 years and this is the absolute BEST food in town.

It gets busy for a reason!! Top level soul food, diner style atmosphere, very friendly vibe from staff. Yummmmmmm It's a favorite when I have the time. If you don't have 45+ minutes to wait and eat there, there are some items in their hot case ready to go, so you can do take out. You can also preorder online :)

Can't visit Springfield without stopping by Boyd's New Generation for a delicious home cooked meal. The smothered pork chops and green beans were so tender and cooked to perfection. It's a great place to see locals and elected officials looking to support a worthy family owned small business. The food was so good I forgot to get a pic.

Great family owned restaurant in town... Food is good, hot, and delivered with a smile... Sometimes the only drawback is the occasional wait in drive thru, but that mainly happens during peak lunch hours, when everyone is trying to grab food at the same time.... I often recommend this place to others, especially those individuals that are from out of town, and are looking for a good place to eat----
